An hour-long ‘Loop You In’ event was full of much-anticipated and yet exciting announcements. Here is all we have got from the Apple March 2016 event:

An event was inaugurated by a keynote speech of CEO Tim Cook in which he pointed out an ongoing clash with the FBI and vowed to protect users’ data and privacy.

Apple highlighted its commitment to environment and health sectors through showing two research-based initiatives on which the company’s R&D department is working. One of these initiatives is dedicated to the environment in which the company’s ‘Liam’ robot deconstructs iPhones in a better than ever recycling manner. The other initiative is a new health-related CareKit research tool that enables people to understand data for various health conditions in a better way.

Apart from this, the maker of Mac came forward with a handful of announcements like:

Apple Watch and iOS updates

A few band colors and configurations have been introduced for Apple Watch. The Watch has got a new band style also, but the most notable announcement is the company is going to reduce the starting price of entry-level Sport models from $349 to $299.

An iOS 9.3 is updated and it has a new feature called Night Shift that adjusts the display during the nighttime. Apple has also introduced a few other improvements in this update.

iPhone SE

A new iPhone SE is an outcome of the iPhone giant’s focus on targeting emerging markets like India and China. It is a 4-inch model and identical to the outgoing iPhone 5s. A new iPhone SE has matte chamfered edges for appealing appearance and a faster A9 processor with faster LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity for better performance.

The notable aspect of the new iPhone is aggressive pricing. It will start at $399 for a 16 GB version, and it is clearly seen as an attempt to woo the first-time iPhone buyers as many customers opt for a 4-inch model at entry level.

iPad Pro

The iPad Air 2 has written a success story with bigger 9.7-inch display and fascinating features. Apple continues a legacy with launching of a 9.7-inch iPad Pro. However, its bigger version with a 12.9-inch display is also available with the same specifications. Smart Keyboard and a Smart Connector are integrated with both the variants.

A new 9.7-inch iPad Pro can shoot 4K videos with 5MP front and 12MP rear cameras. It also has a 4-speaker audio system along with other cool features. Apple says that a new iPad Pro is a commute-friendly device.

These are the key announcements from a tech giant Apple in the recent March 2016 Event. Important dates are March 24 for pre-orders and March 31 for shipment of the new Apple products.

March 21, 2016 was the date set by the Cupertino Crew for announcing a new iPhone and an iPad Pro.
