Also, it is not a great idea to visit illicit websites and download all kind of stuff; this can turn out badly. Google is saying that a vast majority of malware has come from reputed and perfectly legal services, which most of the online users assume are safe.
Search engine giant has blocked approximately 10,000 of these websites per day to streamline the malware tide. Unfortunately, it was found that more than 90,000 websites were infected, which clearly states that the company will have to do long-term struggle. Google said, legitimate websites are more vulnerable and hackers took advantage of this vulnerability.
But, as they say, this is not at all bad news. Webmasters are being aware of online security, and the time required for detecting and repairing the bug has dramatically decreased. Google’s Safe Browsing informs users as well as webmasters, when website is comprised and discouraging the traffic until the fixing operation is completed. Still, it is not impossible to surpass the effects of malware completely. All a webmaster can do is step in the right direction and minimize its effect.
