The core problem was the dependency on Harvard’s platform to sell the case studies with a commission fee as high as 60% on annual sales. Having their own eCommerce platform could save them from paying high commission fees and improve their brand identity in the education sector.
The in-house eCommerce experts suggested unique features and delivered a custom online store to sell ISB case studies with sharp, attractive, and user-friendly UI/UX that perfectly incorporates the brand’s authenticity.
To maintain a smoother execution process while taking care of educational norms, rules, and practices.
The client wanted a website with store functionality that perfectly reflects the brand’s value and its authenticity. Also, given the product nature, Team IndiaNIC was supposed to develop a system that allows buyers to have the product (case study) access while preventing misuse.
A brainstorming session was held between both parties where we decided to build the ISB Ecommerce store using Magento 2.4.1. To keep it viable, the web team developed custom algorithms to encrypt the PDF files that are uploaded from the backend once they are purchased by users, hence fulfilling the goal of prevention of resharing. We also include copyrights on the selling case studies.
The team held Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing to follow the follow the norms.
The team completed the development of Ecommerce store for the Indian School of Business and testing within the promised timeline. Upon the successful launch, the client thanked the whole team and agreed to a dedicated annual maintenance contract for the flawless functioning of the platform. The response to this platform has been greatly appreciated. As a result, the client is currently discussing the next phase of the project.
